Make This Puppy Lucky: Victoria the Pit Bull Mix

After living on the streets for two years, this sweet girl just wants a loving home of her own.

Looking for beauty and brains in one sweet package? Then feast your eyes on Victoria, a bully girl looking for a loving home that will show her the joys of being a family pet. Although she can be a bit shy at first, Victoria opens up quickly and wants so much to trust. Won’t you make room in your home for this darling gal?

Name: Victoria.

Age and sex: 5-year-old female.

Breed: Pit Bull mix.

Size and weight: Medium and 53 pounds.

Coat: Short and tan.

Location: Karma Rescue in California.

Activity level: Medium.

Likes: Playing with other dogs, and going for walks.

Dislikes: Cats.

Training: Victoria is house and crate trained, and has received extensive socialization and obedience training at K9s Only in West Los Angeles. She knows a host of commands including sit, stay, heel, down, come, leave, and go to your crate.

Yard requirements: A fenced-in yard is a must to keep Victoria contained and safe.

Kids: Best with adolescents and adults.

Dogs and cats: Loves dogs, but does not do well with cats.

Health issues: None.

Her story: Victoria had been living on the streets of San Bernardino for two years, effectively escaping all attempts at rescue, before Karma Rescue humanely captured her on Feb. 6, 2016.

Her ideal forever home: Victoria would thrive in a quiet home with a calm and patient person or couple who will give her lots of attention and work with her on her trust issues. Since she loves other dogs so much, she would do great with a playful canine sibling to keep her company and help build her confidence.

Other details prospective adopters should know: Victoria comes with free training for life at K9s Only.
