Never thought you’d spend 30-plus bucks on a doggy bowl? Well, here’s a reason you might want to: PawNosh — a pet accessories brand that primarily crafts glass dog and cat bowls — has recently released a new design made out of upcycled fire hose. Like the glass designs, these new bowls are safe, non-toxic, and made with food-grade silicone. The materials are sourced in the United States and handmade in California.

Like the repurposed glass that would otherwise end up in landfills, the PawNosh craftsmen take upcycled material from Oxgut Hose Co. and use it to make new and functional water bowls. No material is wasted in producing these drinking vessels for pups, and they’re built to last, so shelling out $34 for a bowl is less frivolous and more thrifty on both a personal and a global scale.

With a sporty and utilitarian look, these bowls would look perfect in any pet paraphernalia-adorned home or on the road for instant dog park refreshment or mid-hike sipping. Choose from royal (blue), cabernet (red), and khaki (tan), and then fill with water and watch your pooch hydrate while knowing you did your part to make the world a little greener.
