Company Sells Cat Christmas Tree Toppers, Donates Over 500,000 Meals to Animal Shelters

It may barely be fall, but one organization is already gearing up for Christmas.

In 2019, an organization called iHeartCats created one of the most unique Christmas decorations we’ve ever seen, their “Christmas Miracle for Shelter Cats Tree Topper.”

For every cat angel sold, 30 meals are donated to animal shelters through GreaterGood.org. According to iHeartCats president & founder Marshall Morris, “That works out to about 1 meal for every single cat in the average size animal shelter. We were incredibly fortunate to be able to donate over 300,000 meals through the sale of this product last year.”

Morris goes on to explain why they started selling the Tree Angels again as early as September of this year. “COVID-19 really changed things for us, and its really affected our manufacturing and shipping times. We were able to get some tree angels made early this year, but the supply will be very limited and we’re expecting to sell out as soon as the first week of October.”

You can learn more about the Tree topper on the iHeartCats website. They are selling for $29.99, with each purchase funding 30 donated meals.

Love dogs too? They also have a pup version!
