The Frosted Muzzle: A New Site For Senior Dog Owners

There’s something deeply special about a senior dog—the gentle eyes, the frosted face, the quiet wisdom earned through years of unconditional love. Inspired by one such incredible pup, we’re proud to announce the launch of The Frosted Muzzle.com, a new website created just for senior dog parents.

The idea was born from the personal journey of iHeartDogs founder Justin Palmer, whose rescued Siberian Husky defied the odds and lived to the age of 18. Caring for her through her later years became a labor of love—and a powerful reminder of how much our senior dogs still have to give when they’re supported with the right care, compassion, and attention.

“My Husky taught me that aging doesn’t mean the end—it’s just a new chapter,” says Palmer. “The Frosted Muzzle was created to help other pet parents make those final chapters just as meaningful, healthy, and joyful.”
