Watch This: Rescue Dog + Ball Launcher = Pure Joy

We could watch Buddy play with his automatic ball launcher on an endless loop!

Want to see pure joy in less than a minute? Buddy the Rescue Dog is taking the Internet to new happy heights with his ball-loving attitude. The rising YouTube star has been featured in a handful of videos over the past month, the latest being a 55-second snapshot of his love affair with his ball launcher.

In it, Buddy drops an orange ball into a lime green bin, then barks excitedly while hopping from paw to paw, anticipating the magic that is about to happen. Once the ball is tossed into the air, he’s off in hot pursuit of the plaything. As soon as he’s retrieved it, he totes the ball back to the bin for more. He could probably do it for hours!

The pup was rescued a couple of years ago by the IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare) Northern Dog Project, and these kinds of backyard shenanigans are all thanks to Buddy’s great luck in being adopted by his Canadian foster family – a Toronto couple who understands his needs for amusement and exercise. Just check out his YouTube channel for more peeks at the GoPro-clad pup swimming after a tennis ball, his appearance on Good Morning America, and more fetching fun.
