Make This Puppy Lucky: Belle the Heinz 57

Looking for a canine companion like no other? Meet Belle, a beautiful young lady who happens to be a unique combination of five different breeds! Sweet, happy, and ready for adventure, Belle is a fun-loving girl who would make an ideal walking, hiking, or running partner.

Coat: Short and grayish-brown.

Location: Hero Rescue in Georgia.

Yard requirements: A fenced-in yard would be preferred, but is not necessary as long as she receives lots of daily exercise.

Kids: Due to her high energy, Belle would do best with older kids.

Dog and cats: Belle does fine with other dogs as long as they are properly introduced to her. Has not been tested with cats.

Health issues: Due to her immune system being compromised during her pregnancy, Belle suffered a flare up of Demodex mange that caused her to lose 70 percent of her coat. She has since been fully treated and her gorgeous coat has grown back in.

Her story: Belle was surrendered by her former owners to a rural animal shelter in north Georgia, where she waited for rescue for 20 days. Over that time period, it was discovered that she was pregnant. Two weeks after Hero Rescue saved her, Belle gave birth to nine beautiful babies (four of which are still looking for their forever families).

Her ideal forever home:  Belle would thrive with an active person, couple, or family who can provide her with lots of mental stimulation and exercise, including daily walks, hikes, and/or runs.
