Subscribe to PawsKit and Get Goodies for Your Dog and a Local Shelter

PawsLikeMe will put together a goodie box based on your pup’s personality, plus a shelter dog will get one with your six-month subscription.

The adoption organization PawsLikeMe has come up with a great way to treat your pet on a regular basis, and it’s called PawsKit. Whether or not you found your pooch via the site’s person-and-pet matching service, you can sign up to get a monthly delivery of goodies. A quick online quiz helps pick what kinds of toys and treats your pup might like most, or you can select from a collection of 12 different doggy types, such as Energy Master, Smarty Pants, and Senior Citizen. Then just sit back and wait for your monthly box of fun stuff (along with training aids and advice) to arrive.

If you buy a 6-month subscription, not only will your dog be the better for it, but PawsKit will give a local shelter of your choosing a free adoption kit — including a pet parenting guide, pet insurance, coupons, and gifts from pet product partners — as a way of paying it forward.

It sure beats running from pet store to pet store in search of a toy that might tickle your dog’s fancy, or impulse buying a treat and hoping it’ll catch the attention of your four-legged friend. Plus, the first kit comes with 30 days of pet insurance, so Bandit can play to his heart’s content without you worrying quite so much. Kits are $27.99 per month, with discounts for three-, six-, and 12-month subscriptions.
