If watching sweet puppies frolick on YouTube means that half a million pounds of dog chow goes to deserving mouths, then it’s time to get clicking. Just last week, Purina Puppy Chow and SoulPancake uploaded a new, heartwarming video that captures some smile-inducing meet-and-greets between cuddly puppies and preschool children, gym-goers, and retirement home residents.

Part of the collaborative #PowerofPuppies initiative, the two-minute clip intends to capture the dog-loving hearts of viewers as they see adorable pups pay surprise visits on otherwise routine days. The results are stirring as people of all ages immediately warm up to the furry friends and the mood of the room goes from drab to glad.

Best of all, each video view ensures that 1 pound of Puppy Chow Natural goes to Rescue Bank, which gives the goods to pre-qualified animal welfare non-profits all across the country. Purina will do this for up to 500,000 pounds of its dog food, free of artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. Can you think of a better reason for sidling up to your screen and sharing on social media?

So before going to fill up your dog’s bowl with kibble, take a peek and know that you’re helping to feed another pooch out there. The program runs through April 23, 2016.
