Gibby is ready to go! Might you be his forever friend for life’s adventures?
Gibby is a charming, clever goofball of a hound who would love an active family as passionate about exploring the great outdoors as he is. But don’t let this canine ball of energy fool you – Gibby also happens to be an accomplished cuddler!
Age and sex: 6-year-old male.
Breed: Mountain Curr and hound mix.
Size and weight: Medium and 50 pounds.
Coat: Short, curly and tan.
Location: Wood County Humane Society in Ohio.
Activity level: High.
Likes: Being outside, tennis balls, walks, cuddles, blankets, and getting scratched around his tail.
Training: Gibby understands how to walk well on a leash.
Yard requirements: This energetic pup requires a fenced-in yard to keep him contained and safe, as he is very alert and motivated by any kind of movement when outdoors.
Kids: Great with kids.
Dogs and cats: Gibby is good with certain dogs but not great with cats.
Health issues: None.
His story: Gibby was found as a stray and brought to Wood County Humane on Dec. 3, 2015. He was adopted but wasn’t a good match with the other dog in the home, so he was returned.
His ideal forever home: Gibby would do best with an active family willing to spend a lot of time with him outdoors so he can explore, run, dig, and work off his energy.
