This means detecting some of the most frequent and serious feline illnesses, from urinary tract disorders to liver and kidney problems.

Aside from being a practical and helpful wellness monitor, the litter is eco-friendly, biodegradable, dust-free, scent-free, lightweight, and feline-safe. If your pet licks his paws and accidentally swallows some of the silica micro-granules, it’ll pass through his system without any issues. And you’ll use far less of it compared to clumping varieties — about 3 pounds instead of a hefty 20 per month. What’s more, the company donates bags to shelters and rescues from Hawaii to Maine.
